Looking back on the Camp Year 2023

With Nino's departure to Winnipeg, our offerings for this year come to an end, and we are already setting our sights on the Camp Season 2024.

In 2023, we had the privilege of experiencing numerous fantastic events, and with more than 430 participants, we were able to surpass the previous season once again. The popular Skills Lessons in Wetzikon, the Weekend Camps in Davos, and the Summer Camp in Davos all took place as usual, and as every year, the athletes, coaches, and volunteers gave their best. The addition of Joe Thornton to the Summer Camp was a successful surprise that didn't go unnoticed by the media.

Joe, who has been preparing for the season during the summer break with Skills4Hockey since 2021, was the sole athlete under our personal care until this summer. This year, we welcomed professional players and prospects to the Skills group in Romanshorn. Dominic Zwerger, Marco Rossi, Elias Wallenta, and other talents underwent summer training under the guidance of Filip Pastyrik following the Skills4Hockey concept. It will be even more enjoyable for us to follow their games and observe their successes this winter.

Following the conclusion of the Summer Camp, a new event was on the horizon. Nino Niederreiter, one of the most well-known names in Swiss ice hockey, completed his on-ice preseason training under the S4H concept in preparation for his mission with the Winnipeg Jets.

Michi Bont led his off-ice training, and the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers allowed him to participate in team training.

With Marco Rossi and Nino Niederreiter, we now have two more athletes to root for in the NHL season 23/24 starting in October. We also look forward to more young talents from our camps and lessons who will aim to make their mark in the best league in the world in the future.
